Screwfix

At Screwfix, I designed and coded HTML emails for the e-commerce department. I also designed various homepage banners, buttons and marketing webpages. Emails were coded and tested for consistency over email client software e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo and Outlook. The optimised code was then loaded for delivery to millions of customers into Promail or Mailtrack.

After 18 months contracting at Screwfix, I have gained a good insight into email coding techniques and design limitations.

There was continuous liaison with Campaign, Operation and Marketing Managers and feedback was accommodated into the design process right up until launch deadlines. Brand adherance and heavy direct marketing styling made Screwfix a good test for my web design skills.
