Oxfam
At Oxfam, I created web pages for emergency relief to aid overseas countries, such as Indonesia, India, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. Content was sent to the production team from country managers and visiting Oxfam staff. Their native language was not always English, so I would have to edit grammar and spelling.
In my short contract (1 month), I created a Flash calendar for a scrolling history of Oxfam. A lot of the work I carried out was just web HTML production but the content was very interesting to read. It was a great experience to work for a charity, the teamwork and atmosphere was something I have not come across before, it was very enjoyable.
